You will want to start thinking about how you’re going to stick to a healthy diet and exercise regimen while you’re using the GLP-1 injections. Practicing a healthy lifestyle along with the medication is vital to achieving the best results.
The GLP-1 Procedure
The GLP-1 process is very straightforward. Before you administer the injection, you’ll want to clean the area. We typically recommend injecting in your abdomen, outer thigh, upper buttocks, or the back of the arm. Once the area is clean, you simply use the injector to inject the formula into the treatment area. After it’s injected, you can go back to your normal routine.

Recovery After GLP-1 Weight Loss Shots
There is no recovery or downtime with GLP-1 weight loss shots. You can return to your regular schedule immediately. There are some side effects, as with any medication. You may experience a loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, but these effects usually fade as you use the medication more.
You may start to notice a change in your appetite within the first few weeks, but it can take several months before you see a significant change in your weight. Most patients lose about 10-15% of their body weight.
